Sheffield Piano Lessons

“The joy that making music can bring is limitless and open to everyone”

As a piano teacher my strongest skill is understanding my pupil’s needs and helping them to reach their musical potential. Lessons are individually planned with each pupil’s musical aspirations in mind and will comprise a variety of elements typically including:

  • A warm-up focussed on posture and technical work.
  • Sight-reading.
  • Learning suitable pieces chosen by the pupil.
  • Improvisation activities often using ideas or techniques covered in the lesson.

Nothing is compulsory and each pupil can choose from a range of activities.

Learning a musical instrument can be difficult and takes commitment but it can also be lots of fun and often magical. I aim to make the difficult bits easier and add as much fun and magic as possible for all pupils young and old, whatever their level. If you want to play for fun or take up the piano more seriously then I’m the teacher for you in Sheffield.
