Frequently Asked Questions

My lessons are currently charged at £20.25 per half hour and £40.50 per hour for all students in Sheffield.

I teach mainly from my home in Sheffield's Antiques Quarter (Abbeydale Road, S7 1FL) but if you live nearby I could come to you. My home teaching space is a warm and relaxing place to learn to play the piano.

I have taught students from the age of 6 and upwards. I would recommend that young people under the age of 6 should be introduced to playing music through a range of fun non-instrument specific activities - indeed, children under the age of 6 lack the basic finger strength needed to play the piano. Therefore, I teach 6 and above.

Simply get in touch and let me know that you are unable to come to a lesson as soon as you know. Please do note I run a 24 hour cancellation policy, meaning that if you cancel within 24 hours of the arranged lesson date you will have to pay the full fee.

That is totally up to you, the student. I have helped many students over the years to learn through a wide range of different styles and genres - ensuring that they learn through that music that they are passionate about.
